What is the difference between the two?

In web design, it is assumed that the professionals must be competent enough to create an appealing design that sounds logical to users. The professionals related to web design must be capable of working on designing applications such as Dreamweaver, JavaScript, and other scripting frameworks. Also, the design work should fit in with the business brand, logo, and color schemes.

Compared to web design, web development relates to the coding part. In this context, advanced programming skills are expected to be at par. In terms of job opportunities, both profiles are different. Web designers and web developer’s work in different fields, and while both are part of the web creator world, they are distinct entities.

Aspirants looking to enter the fields can look out for their expertise and interest in any of the fields, sharpen their required skill set, and move ahead.
